What's new in Workspot Control - July 2015 Edition (Part 2)

Last week we examined the new enhancements surrounding security and management. This week we detail the ability to deliver both RDS and XenApp published applications to the same workspace.

Our customers wanted to deploy legacy Windows client server applications into their workspace, in addition to web applications and network shares. Last year, we introduced the ability to leverage Windows Server RDS to deliver Windows apps. Our customers requested that we enable them to leverage their existing XenApp infrastructure in addition to the RDS functions. With the July feature updates, Workspot Control now enables IT to choose between deploying Windows client servers apps into the workspace using either RDS or XenApp.

What’s coming next?

In the next few weeks, we’re working on a flurry of enhancements for the client side – iOS, Mac, PC, Android – around in-app helpdesk, RDP/XenApp support, web proxy support, and more certifications - so stay tuned!
