A business user wants to access any app (SaaS, Web, Windows client-server, CIFS, HTML5, native) from any device (iOS, MacOS, Windows, Android). A next-generation workspace makes it simple for them to do just that. Here's a video of a user using the Workspot client on four different devices (PC, iPad, Android tablet, and PC) to access Office 365, SharePoint (behind the firewall), SAP (behind the firewall) and a network share (behind the firewall).

These are different kinds of apps, inside and outside the firewall, needing different kinds of logins. You will notice that the end user doesn't launch a VPN, fire up a browser, or an RDP client, or does not do multiple logins.

This unified and consistent end user experience across platforms is possible because we have integrated multiple disparate technologies such as VPN, Browser, RDP, CIFS, Document Viewers, RSA, SSO, etc. into a next-generation workspace architecture.

The video above makes the experience look simple. What is happening behind the scenes in the video? We will illustrate with the brain scans below. The orange areas are the parts of the workspace architecture that are firing for a specific action.  Office 365 is a SaaS application that requires a secure browser and single sign-on to O365. SharePoint needs a secure browser but also needs a VPN component to traverse the firewall. SAP is running on a Terminal Server or XenApp and needs the RDP client technology.  Finally, a network file share access requires the CIFS component built into our next generation workspace. If the end user downloads and views a file, the viewers for various file types are also built into our next-generation workspace.

Workspot is your single solution to securely deliver apps and data to any PC, Mac, iOS, and Android device.   The 100% cloud architecture provides security and simplicity to 'K.I.S.S'.
